ÁINE NÍ DHUBHGHAILL - Harpist

One of Ireland's leading harpists, Áine is renowned for her performances of a wide repertoire ranging from traditional to jazz. Her musical studies have included piano, violin and singing as well as concert harp and Irish harp. She studied harp with Caitríona Yeats and Mercedes Garvey in Dublin, Elinor Bennet in Wales and had Master Classes with Marisa Robles.

She has won all the major competitions in Ireland for harp and was prizewinner at the Guinness World Harp Competition in Brittany.

Áine has performed in the U.S.A., Wales, Scotland as well as Italy, France, Germany and Holland. She has taken part in radio and T.V. programmes in Ireland, the BBC, ITV and in Germany and Luxembourg.

She has played as Deputy Harpist with both National Orchestras in Ireland and she is Professor of Harp at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

FRANCES FOX - Director

Frances is a widely known and experienced teacher of speech and drama and has specialised in Educational Drama for many years in schools as a teacher and examiner. She has just completed an honours degree in Social Science in UCD and is a present working as a Librarian.

She directed the recitals “Mystery and History” and “Dance to your Shadow” which Glynis performed with her father Christopher Casson celebrating his eighty years on the stage.
